What Are We Teaching Society?

I was watching a video yesterday about young people that are making a difference and it started me thinking. 53% of college grads are unemployed, student debt is almost 1 trillion dollars, and this generation is the most socially connected on the planet. Why aren't we teaching them the skills needed to succeed in life.

Most School teachers and college professors only make 25k to 50k a year. They have no experience in making a fortune and they are the ones teaching our kids and adults how to make a living. It is no wonder only 1 out of a hundred people in the US are considered independently wealthy, 4 more are comfortable, and the rest are just barely making it, living on welfare, or dead by retirement age.

I am going to change that if possible by pointing out a few facts. First, to learn how to be successful we need to find successful people to teach us the way. ****** pointed out that if we feed a person a fish they eat today but if we teach them to fish they'll eat for a lifetime. Why are we not applying principles like that in our own lives and teaching it to our children.

The internet is a great tool with bad things as well as good. Some one said, "Garbage in garbage out." So let's use this vehicle for good and stay away from the garbage. Learn to be up lifting and keep in tough with friends and family. Tell your wife and family you love them everyday! Call a friend and see how they're doing! Give of yourself and to other so they can have the pleasure to give back. Believe me by doing this you'll get more out of it than they do!

I found this wonderful group I am beginning to see as part of my family. They are dedicated to spreading the word about health and nutrition. Plus they have a group of young people getting out there and working on teaching their friends and family good practices. They are teaching people from 14 to 88 to better themselves by surrounding themselves with like minded people with similar morals and values. They are becoming physical fit in mind and body. They teach others to grow their bank account and not be the 34 year old living at home and working for McDonalds, WalMart, and Pizza Hut because they think that they can't do anything else.

We as a people should back the initiative it takes to do things like this and get involve in doing so ourselves. I invite you to check out this website to see what I'm doing to better my situation or find something you would like to do to better yourself. But what ever you do get started now!!!
